TMS Families,
I hope you had a great weekend. Like many of you, I was able to see an outstanding musical, as TMS students performed their Spring Musical, High School Musical Jr., at Triad High School on Friday and Saturday nights. Congratulations to the directors, cast, and crew, on two outstanding performances. Thank you to one of our TMS parents, Mrs. Jacobs, for capturing some outstanding pictures at one of the dress rehearsals last week.
Crusaders Helping Crusaders: A special shoutout to one of our TMS Technology Education teachers, Dr. Daiber, and two tech ed students, Brock and Waylon, for developing and building a bocce ball ramp so that a classmate could participate with the rest of the class during PE. Our Crusaders are kind, caring, and creative problem solvers! Way to go, Waylon and Brock. Great things are happening in our technology education classroom with the guidance and support of Dr. Daiber and Mr. Morrison.
Online Registration and Enrollment for 24-25: Parents are encouraged to register their Triad students for the 2024-2025 school year online now. Please help us with our school planning efforts by doing this as soon as possible instead of waiting until later in the summer. TMS students will be signing up for their preferred electives at the end of this month, so please begin the online enrollment/registration process as soon as possible. More information here.
PSAT 8/9 Score Reports: The College Board should release PSAT 8/9 score reports no later than May 2 for those 8th graders who took part in our optional test administration on April 8. Students will need to create a College Board account to access. They can do so HERE. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Andrea Morris at amorris@tcusd2.org with any questions.

Summer Camp Opportunities: In addition to the outstanding summer sports camps that Triad offers, we have also been made aware of the following educational camp opportunities away from the Triad District.
June 3-7 (session 1) and 10-14 (session 2) - School of Engineering Summer Camp @ SIUE
This opportunity is available to our 8th grade class, who are headed to THS in the Fall.
June 10-12 - Middle School Anatomy Camp - AIMS (Adventures in Math & Science) @ St. Louis University

At the January Board of Education meeting, the 2024-2025 Triad District School Calendar was approved by the board. Please check out next year’s school calendar when planning short trips, appointments, and vacations to help us improve attendance at TMS and maximize in person learning opportunities for students and staff.
