Crusader Nation,
The final countdown has arrived! Teachers and students have four more “wake-ups” left. Students should be reminded to finish the year on a strong, positive note. Making smart behavioral choices, will allow students to enjoy the last week of school with their teachers and classmates. Receiving zeroes for assignments not turned in may result in failing year end grades, which could result in a summer school assignment. In addition, any disciplinary consequences that are outstanding at the end of the school year will need to be served at the beginning of the new school year, whether students are returning to TMS or heading to THS. We’re looking forward to our final Zero Hero celebration tomorrow afternoon. Let’s make this a great last week together at TMS!

Lost & Found & Locker Clean Out
Please have your student check the Lost and Found areas to claim any items that may belong to them. Students should also be reminded to clean out their lockers this week. Everything needs to go home or to the trash. All leftover items will be donated at the end of the school year.
THS Cross Country
Any 8th grader interested in running cross country should email Coach Brendel (andrew.brendel@tcusd2.org) so they can be added to the team Canvas account. Canvas is how all information about summer training and the season will be pushed out to student-athletes.
Wait Until 8th initiative- delaying the smartphone until 8th grade…my child already has a smartphone, what now? Under "Digital Training" check out “Parental Controls and App Safety” to help your child navigate their smartphone safely, appropriately, and moderately.
