Hello Triad Families,
My name is Kelli Barbour, principal at Triad High School. I want to welcome you as parents and your incoming 9th-grade student to THS! We are excited about having them attend in our building in the upcoming school year. The next few weeks will be a busy one as you prepare for high school registration. We are going to have our annual Freshman Orientation Night at the high school where we invite parents to attend a presentation given by our administration and school counselors on February 6 at 6pm. This orientation will focus on information related to Triad High School graduation requirements, the establishment of a four-year plan, participation in clubs/athletics/activities, social/emotional support services, etc. Additionally, our CTE Department will be hosting an Open House before the orientation from 5:15-6:00pm. The Open House will allow you to see what this department has to offer at THS.
If you are unable to attend the Freshmen Orientation, we will send out a video of the information presented that evening.
During the week of February 12, students and parents will receive an email from the guidance department with registration instructions for the following week. It would be helpful to review these instructions together with your child and review some of the courses available in the Triad High School 2024-2025 Course Book.
Finally, during the week of February 20, registration will begin for incoming 9th-grade students.
