TMS Families,
Please continue to keep the family of Cady Carr in your thoughts and prayers. Our student population has done a tremendous job of thinking of small ways to honor Cady and provide her family with support. Over the weekend we will provide the family with cards, letters, small gifts, monetary donations, pictures, and memories from students here at TMS.
Please check on your child and make sure he or she is feeling. We have provided students with a number of outlets while they are here at school, but it is also important that they know they can talk to you at home as well, and sometimes it takes a parent to initiate that conversation before students will open up about how they're feeling. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
TMS Student Handbook, Parent Signature:
Over the last week students have reviewed the handbook and TMS expectation in CSC. The expectations have also been communicated over Morning Announcements each day as a reminder.
An effort has been made to create rules and procedures that will guide students in becoming effective, responsible citizens of the school community. These handbooks contain valuable information relating to school procedures and policies.
Please click on the Triad Middle School Student/Parent Handbook link.
Please go to the family access in Skyward and click on the tile indicating that you have been provided the Triad Middle School Student/Parent Handbook.
Student Drop off & Pick-up:
When dropping your child off in the morning, please use the circle drive in front of the school. We ask that he or she exit the vehicle and walk along the sidewalk to the front entrance of the school. Please pull as far forward as you can to help more students exit the vehicle in a timely manner. The school buses will be dropping students off on the east side of the building near the large gym. Please do not drop students off in the staff parking lot, this is not safe and creates congestion for our buses. Just a reminder that traffic on Route 40 in the mornings can be heavy at times, please be patient and understanding.
Morning Drop-off Route Early Bird Band Drop-off
When picking your child up in the afternoon, please park in the parking lot on the east side of the building near the large gym. The school buses will be picking up students in the front circle drive. Please do not use the circle drive for pickup after 1:20, bus arrival begins and parents/guardians are limited access to the main parking lot entrance.
What if my child forgets something?
A drop-off location is located in the Main Lobby. Ring the buzzer, let us know you are dropping off something for your student. Put your child’s name on the item. The item will be delivered to the student.
I need to pick up my child…
An approved pickup person will buzz into the building. Use the Chromebook in the Main Lobby to enter the student information. This information will be sent to the Main Office secretaries. The student will be called and sent out to you. Please plan accordingly, this can take a few minutes. Please wait in the lobby area.
