Student Drop off & Pick-up: As the weather changes

Please continue to pull forward to the cones in the morning - we are doing our best to minimize the wait time on Route 40 each morning and with your help we can continue to do that! We understand we may have a few more car riders due to weather conditions, but it is so helpful to all parents if we unload anywhere along the sidewalk and students walk into the building.  We can unload 8-10 cars at once, which truly helps the back-ups on Rt. 40 and the amount of tardy arrivals. SRO Maue continues to greet students inside the doors each morning. Please help us avoid staff having to be outside directing traffic in the cold, winter mornings.

Important Dates

  • Nov 26th - Nov 28th - Thanksgiving Break

  • Dec 5th & 9th - MIles of Smiles - Dental Program

  • Dec. 18th- 2nd Quarter Zero Hero Reward

  • Dec 19th - End of 2nd Quarter (Early Dismissal)

How can I monitor my child’s attendance and grades?

  • Check grades, attendance, and behavior in Skyward and Canvas

  • Communicate with teachers if concerns arise

  • Zero Hero Reward requirements - No referrals, 3 or less absences, No missing work (Each quarter resets)

Student Returning to School:

If your son or daughter has an appointment or is coming in late to school, please know that we can save you extra time - you do not have to come in to sign them back into school. Parents/Guardians only need to enter the building to sign-out a student.  We hope this helps, we know your time is valuable and we will get them right to class upon return.

I need to pick up my child…

An approved pickup person will buzz into the building. Use the Chromebook in the Main Lobby to enter the student information. This information will be sent to the Main Office secretaries. The student will be called and sent out to you. Please plan accordingly, this can take a few minutes. Please wait in the lobby area.

It’s been a great week!
